South Carolina CWP Training for PGC members and family.
Objectives: Satisfy the South Carolina state required training and practical gun handling skills for a Concealed Weapons Permit. These skills include safely presenting a pistol from a concealed carry holster and shooting from concealment.
Prerequisite: #1: Successful completion of the PGC Basic Pistol Shooting Course. This requirement may also be satisfied by certification from the PGC Chief Instructor, or a PGC Pistol Competition Match Director, stating that the student has the requisite level of competent safe pistol handling experience required to attend this course. Military and Law Enforcement firearms experience is also recognized, as determined by the course instructor.

Class Length: 8 to 10 hours.
Maximum Class Size: 8 Students (May vary depending upon instructor availability.)
Equipment Needed: Personal eye and ear protection. A modern handgun with a strong-side holster suitable for concealment, 100 rounds of factory ammunition with spare magazines. Pistols, magazines and holsters may be available for loan if coordinated in advance with the instructor.
Certificates and Documentation: Upon successful course completion, the student will be awarded a PGC Club Certificate and the instructor will sign the appropriate portions of the SLED application forms to apply for a South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit.
